CEPI invests $1.9m to accelerate Ebola Vaccine development

The Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) has announced a significant investment of $1.9 million aimed at speeding up the development of an Ebola vaccine. This funding is intended to advance promising vaccine candidates through crucial stages of research and testing.

The investment comes in the wake of past Ebola outbreaks, including one in Bundibugyo which saw over 560 confirmed infections and more than 100 fatalities. The goal is to ensure a more robust and readily available vaccine to combat future outbreaks.
