A small plane crash in Marília, São Paulo, resulted in the deaths of two pilots: Henrique Guariente Filho, 47, from Paraná, and Gabriel Maloni Mendes da Cruz, 24, from São Paulo. Guariente, described by family as a lifelong aviation enthusiast and passionate pilot, had relocated to Marília over five years ago to pursue private flights. Mendes da Cruz, who was reportedly piloting the aircraft at the time of the incident, was an employee of Ponzan Alimentos, the company that owned the plane. A third individual on board, Pablo Portella Ilwoski, 28, survived the crash and remains in serious condition.
