University of Cyprus submits plans for four new English-language degrees

The University of Cyprus has submitted plans to the education ministry for four new undergraduate degrees to be taught in English. These proposed programs include medicine, business administration, and economics, with the university hoping to enroll students by September 2027, pending government approval. This initiative builds on the recent launch of the university's first English-language bachelor's degree in urban sustainability studies. All students, regardless of nationality, will be subject to tuition fees of €5,300 annually for these new programs, which are designed to be self-financing.

These new English-language programs aim to enhance the university's international standing and attract a broader student base, including international students, while also generating revenue for academic development.
