The Nicosia Municipal Theatre has introduced its inaugural Summer Theatre School, "The City as a Stage – Theatre Routes in Nicosia." This program invites children aged 6 to 12 to discover theatre by utilizing the city's landmarks, museums, and public spaces as inspiration for creative exploration. Running in two sessions from July 6-10 and July 13-17, the school aims to blend theatrical education with cultural discovery.
Participants will engage in daily workshops covering improvisation, movement, and voice, guided by professionals from various artistic and educational fields. The curriculum also features excursions to significant Nicosia sites, encouraging children to transform their observations of the city's heritage into theatrical performances.
