Educators' Drive Fuels FODE Graduations in New Ireland
These powerful words from Grade 12 student representative, Kiapsini Tarsisius, set the tone for an inspiring series of Flexible Open Distance Education (FODE) graduations across New Ireland Province. Graduation ceremonies were held at KTF (Kokoda Track Foundation) FODE centres in Warangansau, Silom, Lamasong and Lihir, celebrating the achievements of 382 secondary students. A total of 382 secondary students have graduated from Flexible Open Distance Education (FODE) centers across New Ireland Province. The ceremonies, held at KTF FODE locations in Warangansau, Silom, Lamasong, and Lihir, recognized the hard work of students completing their education. Among the graduates, 50 students earned their Grade 10 certificates, while 175 successfully completed Grade 12.
These graduations highlight the success of alternative education models in reaching and certifying a significant number of students in the province.
