Tanzania lifts the lid on World Bank’s 320m US Dollars funding to restore infrastructure hit by climate change.

DODOMA: THE Minister for Finance, Dr Hamisi Mussa Omar has said that through the World Bank, the government has received a total of 320m US dollars from 2024/25 to 2025/26 to improve and restore critical infrastructure damaged by climate change. The Minister revealed this when presenting the Government’s Proposals on Revenue and Expenditure Estimates for the Year 2026/2027, today, June 11, 2026, in Parliament in Dodoma. “Our country has also continued to witness the direct effects of climate change.
