DODOMA: TANZANIA has registered a record 915 investment projects worth 10.95 billion US dollars (about 29tri/-) in 2025, surpassing 901 projects valued at 9.3 billion US dollars (24tri/-) recorded in 2024. Tanzania has achieved a record high in investment attraction, registering 915 projects valued at approximately 29 trillion Tanzanian Shillings (10.95 billion US dollars) in 2025. This figure represents a significant increase from the 901 projects worth 24 trillion Shillings (9.3 billion US dollars) recorded in the previous year.
The newly registered projects span various key sectors, including manufacturing, commercial buildings, transport, tourism, and agriculture. These initiatives are projected to generate over 162,000 employment opportunities upon their full realization. Tanzanian investors, either individually or in partnerships, were responsible for 51 percent of these registered projects.
This record investment surge indicates a stable and appealing business environment in Tanzania, potentially leading to significant economic growth and job creation.
