Andhra University (AU) has issued a notification inviting applications from eligible candidates for temporary teaching arrangements in its constituent colleges and schools for the academic year 2026-27. According to a notification issued on Friday, the appointments will be made purely on semester basis to handle teaching work in various academic departments of the AU College of Arts and Commerce, AU College of Science and Technology, AU College of Engineering (A), AU College of Engineering (W), AU College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College of Law, and the AU School of International Business. Candidates possessing qualifications prescribed under the norms of the UGC, AICTE, PCI, BCI, NCTE and COA are eligible to apply. Selected personnel will be paid a consolidated remuneration of ₹900 per hour for each subject or paper taught and ₹600 per laboratory session allotted by the respective Heads of Departments, subject to a maximum remuneration of ₹1.32 lakh per semester per candidate. Candidates interested must submit their applications online. The last date for submission is June 22 by 11.59 p.m. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews, tentatively scheduled from June 29 onwards. The detailed interview schedule and venue will be hosted on the university website. AU authorities said that the prescribed application form and other details can be downloaded from the “jobs” section of the university website. The university has reserved the right to conduct or not conduct the interviews without assigning any reason.
