Former Minister Seediri Appala Raju and YSRCP State secretary Yenni Dhanunjaya Rao on Friday urged the N. Chandrababu Naidu- led government to fulfil the promises made ahead of the 2024 general elections.

Under the banner of ‘Vennupotuku Rendellu’, the party organised protests at Palasa, in Srikakulam district and in Vizianagaram district on Friday. Police were deployed to prevent any untoward incidents.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Appala Raju said that the lack of employment opportunities had left youth distressed.

Mr. Dhanunajaya Rao alleged that the government failed to implement the ‘Adabidda Nidhi’ scheme, under which ₹1,500 was promised to each woman above 18 years as per the ‘Super Six’ assurances.

He further claimed that the YSRCP would be voted back to power as people across all sections were fed up with the government’s poor administration in the State.
