Swarna Andhra P4 Foundation Vice-Chairman C. Kutumba Rao stated that the ongoing geopolitical uncertainties have a significant effect on businesses, but he added that they are actually reshaping industry dynamics.
At the second meeting of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) at Sri City on Thursday (June 11, 2026), he spoke on the theme “The impact of geopolitical uncertainty on the industry, and how businesses could strategise to tide over these difficult times,” where he emphasised the need for industries to adopt forward-looking strategies to remain competitive and resilient in a rapidly changing global environment.
“Businesses must innovate, adapt, and strategise to overcome these challenges and sustain growth,” he observed, while stressing on the need to strengthen supply chain efficiencies and reduce import dependency.
He lauded Sri City as the “best industrial cluster in the country” and cited it as a model of ecosystem-based industrial development, where air-conditioning manufacturers and their supplier networks created a strong local supply chain to thrive. “Sri City has facilitated global players like LG, Daikin, Carrier, and their vendor ecosystem, building a resilient and competitive industrial base,” he noted.
National Stock Exchange Limited Chief Manager Senthil Murugan gave a presentation on SME IPOs and listing opportunities, highlighting the potential for small and medium enterprises to access capital markets and accelerate growth.
