State Minister Vows to Renovate Bhasani Hall, Build Model Tangail

The State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock, Sultan Salahuddin (Tuku), has pledged to expedite the renovation of Bhasani Hall in Tangail to restore cultural practices and provide a suitable venue for local artists. He stated that initiatives are already underway to begin the renovation work as soon as possible. The minister expressed his commitment to developing Tangail into a model city. He made these remarks after inspecting the dilapidated Bhasani Hall, emphasizing its historical and cultural importance to the region. Salahuddin noted the current lack of performance spaces for artists in Tangail, attributing the hall's decline to neglect during previous administrations. He highlighted Bhasani Hall's significance, having been inaugurated by former President Ziaur Rahman. The minister vowed to make the hall functional again, underscoring the collective responsibility to preserve such historical sites. He also attended a science innovation workshop.
