An 18-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking in Volta Redonda, Rio de Janeiro. The arrest occurred early Friday morning in an area known as 'Grota' in the Vila Brasília neighborhood. Military Police, acting on intelligence, apprehended two individuals, aged 18 and 19, allegedly involved in drug sales. During the operation, authorities seized a significant quantity of narcotics, including 190 small packages of cocaine, 61 of marijuana, and 45 rocks of crack, along with loló and ecstasy. A radio transmitter, two mobile phones, and R$58 in cash were also confiscated. Both suspects and the seized items were taken to the Volta Redonda police station. The 18-year-old remains in custody, while the 19-year-old was released after questioning. The Civil Police are continuing the investigation.
