Seyed Abdul Hadi Honored in Evening of Song and Story

Renowned singer Seyed Abdul Hadi was honored by the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy with a special award. The ceremony, titled 'Timeless Voice: Seyed Abdul Hadi in Respect and Love,' took place at the National Theater Hall of the Shilpakala Academy in Dhaka. State Minister for Cultural Affairs, Ali Newaz Mahmud Khayem, presented the award. Abdul Hadi expressed his gratitude but also humility, feeling he was not entirely deserving of such high praise. The State Minister humorously suggested he could repay the honor by singing, to which Abdul Hadi responded that he had retired from singing long ago, offering his sincere love instead. The event included a documentary on his musical journey and video messages from fellow artists, followed by a musical performance by younger artists singing his popular songs.
