A man was subjected to a "sequestro-relâmpago" (express kidnapping) and forced to reveal his bank account passwords to criminals in São Vicente, on the coast of São Paulo, on Friday, June 12th. The victim was taken to a wooded area and held for several hours under threat before being released after the perpetrators made financial transfers. The incident began when the man was approached by an armed individual on Quintino Bocaiuva Avenue and subsequently joined by other suspects who transported him to the remote location. No arrests have been made yet. After his release, the victim sought help from residents, leading to his transfer to the police station where the case was registered.
