CAICT Launches Token Cloud Service Quality Plan

The China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) has initiated a "Token Cloud Service Quality Enhancement Evaluation Plan." This plan involves over ten major technology firms, including Alibaba Cloud and Huawei Cloud. The initiative aims to establish industry standards for token-based cloud services, which are crucial for AI model inference and processing. Experts highlighted the growing significance of these services as AI workloads increase. The evaluation will cover key metrics like latency, throughput, and reliability. This effort is expected to help businesses select cloud providers based on standardized benchmarks. CAICT, a body under China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, will provide technical credibility to the process. The plan also includes the release of research on token cloud architecture and security.
