The initiative seeks to share Ethiopia's expertise in housing development and address the growing housing needs in Juba. Both parties are working towards a twinning agreement and a Memorandum of Understanding to formalize the cooperation. Governor Adil also congratulated Ethiopia on its recent elections, suggesting South Sudan could learn from the process as it prepares for its own general elections in 2026. Following the meeting, the Ethiopian delegation began assessing potential sites for housing and infrastructure projects in and around Juba.
