Operation Toofan Seizes 60kg Ganja in Two Weeks

Rural police have confiscated approximately 60 kilograms of suspected cannabis during Operation Toofan. The operation, which began on June 1, 2026, has been ongoing for two weeks. During this period, 73 individuals were arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Around 60 cases have been registered as part of the intensified anti-drug drive. This initiative aims to curb drug trafficking in the region. Authorities are continuing their efforts to combat illegal substance trade.
