Initiative Raises Awareness for Albinism Rights

In Nouakchott, an initiative has been launched to raise awareness about the rights of individuals with albinism. The event, organized by the Mauritanian Organization for the Support and Integration of People with Albinism, coincides with the International Albinism Awareness Day. The solidarity days are held under the slogan "Empowerment is a Guarantee for Development." The Assistant Commissioner for Human Rights, Humanitarian Action, and Relations with Civil Society, Mr. Hadrami Ould Wadad Mahmoud, officially inaugurated the activities. The campaign aims to highlight the rights and needs of this significant population group. The initiative seeks to promote inclusion and development for people with albinism.
