Two Brothers Die After Motorcycle Fall
নোয়াখালীর সেনবাগে দ্রুতগতির মোটরসাইকেল নিয়ন্ত্রণ হারিয়ে ছিটকে পড়ে মারা যান দুই সহোদর ভাই। একই ঘটনায় গুরুতর আহত হয়েছেন তাঁদের আরেক চাচাতো ভাই। আজ শনিবার রাত সাড়ে আটটার দিকে সেনবাগ-সোনাইমুড়ী আঞ্চলিক সড়কে ওই দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে। পুলিশ জানায়, নিহত দুই ভাই হলেন মো. আরিফ হোসেন (২৮) ও মো. আশিক হোসেন (২৬)। গুরুতর আহত হন তাঁদের চাচাতো ভাই মো. শাওন (২৪)। নিহত দুই ভাই সেনবাগ উপজেলার ডমুরুয়া ইউনিয়নের ডমুরুয়া গ্রামের ভূঁইয়া বাড়ির আলাউদ্দিনের ছেলে। খবর পেয়ে থানা-পুলিশ দুর্ঘটনাস্থল পরিদর্শন করেছে।
Two brothers, identified as Md. Arif Hossain (28) and Md. Ashik Hossain (26), tragically died after their speeding motorcycle lost control and they were thrown off. The incident occurred on the Senbag-Sonaimuri regional road in Noakhali's Senbag Upazila on Saturday night. Their cousin, Md. Shawon (24), sustained serious injuries in the same accident and has been transferred to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment. Police believe the accident happened when the motorcycle's wheel hit a pothole on the road, causing it to overturn. The brothers were reportedly on their way to pick up their brother-in-law from the airport. Local residents and police have confirmed the details of the accident. The deceased were residents of Domrua village in Senbag Upazila.
This accident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of speeding and poor road conditions, leading to the loss of young lives.
