The construction of a roundabout in the Grbavica neighborhood of Sarajevo, part of the Southern Longitudinal road, has faced significant delays. Originally scheduled for completion by early summer, the project's deadline has now been extended to the end of summer. This extension comes after complications arose between April and June. Notably, support pillars remain in the middle of the newly built road section. The project has also incurred additional costs, with an extra 700,000 KM invested in the roundabout's construction.
The presence of unfinished infrastructure and cost overruns raises questions about project management and public fund allocation for the Grbavica roundabout.
