Namibian centre-back Sisqo Haraseb has signed with Zimbabwe Premier League side Hard Rock FC after returning from a loan at Al-Qassim FC in Iraq. The 25-year-old has arrived in Zimbabwe and is set to join the Kwekwe-based team, making him the first Namibian international to play for the club. Hard Rock FC, promoted from the Zifa Central Region Division, has been performing well this season, currently sitting third in the league. Haraseb had a challenging loan spell with Al-Qassim FC, which faced financial issues and was relegated. He gained recognition in the 2024/2025 Namibia Premier League with Mighty Gunners FC, earning a call-up to the national team. After a brief stint with Mochudi Centre Chiefs in Botswana, Haraseb joined Hard Rock FC but is waiting for the transfer window to officially join. His move to the club has been complicated by legal issues with his previous team.
Sisqo Haraseb's move highlights the international mobility of footballers and the challenges they face in different leagues.
