PM urges faster progress on 100MW solar project in GB

The federal government will cover all costs for the project. Authorities also presented details about other solar initiatives in the region. An 18MW solar project for government buildings is set for completion by December. Another 82MW project for residential areas is currently under development. The 100MW project was approved in August 2025 and later formalized by the PM in December.
The project aims to provide reliable and sustainable energy to the region, addressing long-term power needs.
