The government has established 13 elderly care homes and 16 private facilities. The National Council of Elders Advisory Board highlighted the need for respect and quality healthcare. District Commissioner Erasto Yohana Sima stressed community responsibility in ensuring safe environments for the elderly. The event aimed to promote inclusivity and care for senior citizens.
