Stellantis and Factorial Inc. have initiated road testing of Factorial's FEST (Factorial Electrolyte System Technology) solid-state battery technology integrated into a Dodge Charger Daytona development vehicle. This marks a significant step in validating the performance, safety, and reliability of solid-state cells for automotive applications. Following successful validation of automotive-scale FEST cells, this integration represents a major advancement towards commercialization. The FEST cells, introduced in 2025, offer high energy density, ultra-fast charging capabilities (15% to 90% in 18 minutes), and reliability across a wide temperature range (-30°C to 45°C).
