Sharon Cuneta cries 'liars' after photo shown in presser of Zaldy Co's 'ex-bodyguards'

Megastar Sharon Cuneta branded as liars those who presented at a press conference of Zaldy Co's alleged former bodyguards a photograph of her and her husband, Sen. Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan, supposedly with employees of the former congressman linked to the flood control scam.

According to Ian Cruz's report on "24 Oras," the ex-bodyguards presented photos of suitcases at the hangar of Co's Misibis Aviation. They alleged that they delivered suitcases filled with cash to politicians and even journalists.

The former soldiers didn't give any details, but one of the pictures shown had Pangilinan and Cuneta with Co's supposed employees.

On Facebook, Cuneta said she vlogged about her family's visit to Marawi to thank local officials for their support for Pangilinan, who won a Senate seat in the 2025 elections.

"Mga sinungaling!!!!!!! Sobra talaga kayo!!!!! I vlogged about this visit my family and I made to Marawi to thank the Governor, Mayor, and other officials and their families for their support for Kiko," Cuneta said.

"Talaga ba, magbibigay kayo ng maleta sa amin sa Marawi pa???!!!" she added.

Pangilinan warned that he will hold accountable those who were behind the presentation of the photograph.

“Dahil dinamay ninyo pa ang pamilya ko, makakatikim kayo ng hindi pasaring, alegasyon, o palabas na kaso sa korte. Pananagutan ninyo ang paninirang ginagawa ninyo,” Pangilinan said in a statement on “24 Oras.”

(Because you dragged my family into this, you will not just receive allegations or a theatrical lawsuit in court. You will be held accountable for the defamation you are causing.)

The senator believes that the statements against him were only meant to smear his reported appointment as Senate Blue Ribbon subcommittee chairperson, tasked to probe into the flood control scandal.
