Andhra Pradesh is set to commission 24 major power transmission projects, valued at ₹3,507 crore, between June and December 2026. These projects, including substations and transmission lines, will enhance grid stability and power reliability across the state. Special Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand directed officials to ensure timely completion. Currently, 68 transmission projects worth ₹5,279 crore are under execution, with tenders floated for 29 more. The new projects aim to meet the growing electricity demands of agriculture, industry, and households.
