Tanzania Electric Supply Company (TANESCO) has completed power distribution improvement projects in Dodoma, benefiting residents of Gairo, Mpwapwa, Kongwa, Chamwino, and Kiteto districts. The projects, costing over TZS 10.5 billion, include a new switching station, a 20 MVA transformer, and a 92-kilometer transmission line. Minister for Energy Deogratius Ndejembi highlighted that these investments, part of the Sixth Phase Government's agenda, will significantly improve the reliability of electricity supply, preventing outages across districts.
