Education in the government sector is all set to undergo a major change with the first State-run Telangana Public School slated to be inaugurated on Wednesday.

A dream project of the Chief Minister, the TPS has been conceived with an aim to revolutionize education in the State offering education from Nursery to Intermediate on a single campus.
Part of the educational reforms ushered in by the Congress government, TPS is designed with state-of-the-art facilities to compete with the corporate educational institutions dominating the sector for some time now.
The Chief Minister will unveil the pylon and visit the digital classrooms after having breakfast with students.. He will inspect the library, science labs, dining hall, and sports grounds and other facilities on the campus besides participating in an interactive meeting with student, teachers and members of the school committee.
The Arutla TPS was developed under the supervision of the Education Commission and is expected to offer education with international standards. Alongside quality education, equal emphasis is being given to sports, cultural activities, and personality development.
