Bicycle riders on humanitarian trip to Serbian monastery in Greece

A group of bicycle riders is set to ride to the Serbian Orthodox Church monastry Hilandar in Greece as a humanitarian effort for women with cancer.

The bike riders will leave on June 20 as a show of support for the Women’s Center Milica which provides support to women with breast and other forms of cancer.

The riders want to attract donations, the Milica Center said in a press release. That center has provided support for more than 3,000 women and their families over the past 3 years.

Their plan is to ride from the central Serbian city of Kragujevac via the southern city of Nis, cross into North Macedonia and ride into Greece reaching Ouranoupoli and to start the ride home on June 28.
