Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has reiterated his Government’s commitment to create infrastructure for providing quality education and skills to students in the State run educational institutions making them readily employable in the competitive world.
The government is focused on improving the quality of education in the government institutions and has therefore initiated several steps to revive them for making them role models for the country. The government had earmarked 8.5% of the budget outlay of over ₹3 lakh crore amounting to ₹27,000 crore for education.

The government had therefore constituted the Education Commission which made several recommendations for improving the sector. “We have decided to embark upon reconstruction of Telangana’s future with focus on quality education,” he said at a public meeting after formally inaugurating the Telangana Public School at Arutla in neighbouring Rangareddy district on Wednesday (June 17, 2026).
