Trump and Pezeshkian Sign MOU to End War, One Day Ahead of Schedule

US President Donald Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to permanently end the war, a day earlier than scheduled. The signing took place at the Palace of Versailles in France. Trump confirmed the signing, adding that further bombing would resume if Iran fails to meet its obligations. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei confirmed the MOU's finalization. The agreement includes provisions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz and easing certain financial sanctions on Iran. Negotiations on Iran's nuclear program will commence within 60 days.
