Half of England’s schools unfit due to leaks, mould and faulty toilets, poll finds

İngiltere'deki okulların yarısı sızıntı, küf ve arızalı tuvaletler nedeniyle kullanılamaz durumdadır. Okul müdürlerinin yaptığı ankete göre, okullar çeşitli fiziksel sorunlardan dolayı kapanmak zorunda kalmaktadır.

A recent survey by the National Association of Head Teachers (NAHT) reveals that half of schools in England are experiencing significant disrepair. Issues such as leaks, damp, mould, asbestos, and faulty boilers are forcing parts of school buildings, including classrooms and playgrounds, to be closed or deemed unfit for use. The problem is particularly acute in toilet facilities, with a substantial majority of affected schools reporting issues with their restrooms.

This widespread deterioration of school infrastructure raises serious concerns about the learning environment and safety of students and staff across England.
