Parents of Kosta K. Sentenced to Prison for School Massacre
VIŠI sud u Beogradu osudio je roditelje Koste K., dječaka koji je 3. svibnja 2023. ubio deset i ranio šest osoba u beogradskoj osnovnoj školi "Vladislav Ribnikar".
The Higher Court in Belgrade has sentenced Vladimir and Miljana Kecmanović, the parents of Kosta K., the minor who committed the 2023 massacre at "Vladislav Ribnikar" Elementary School, to prison. The sentences were delivered following a retrial. Vladimir Kecmanović received 14 and a half years, while Miljana Kecmanović was sentenced to nearly three years. The court found them guilty of charges related to neglect and abuse of a minor. This verdict concludes a significant chapter in the legal proceedings stemming from the tragic event that shocked Serbia.
