Five More Children Die from Measles Symptoms; Total Deaths Reach 666
হামের উপসর্গ নিয়ে দেশে গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় (বুধবার সকাল ৮টা থেকে বৃহস্পতিবার সকাল আটটা) আরও পাঁচ শিশুর মৃত্যু হয়েছে। এ সময়ে হাম ও হামের উপসর্গে আক্রান্ত হয়েছে এক হাজার ১৪৮ জন। এ পর্যন্ত দেশে হাম ও হামের উপসর্গ নিয়ে মৃতের সংখ্যা ৬৬৬ জনে পৌঁছেছে। তাদের মধ্যে হামের উপসর্গ নিয়ে ৫৭৩ শিশু ও নিশ্চিত হামে ৯৩ শিশুর মৃত্যু হয়েছে। আজ বৃহস্পতিবার স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের সর্বশেষ প্রতিবেদন থেকে এসব তথ্য জানা গেছে। গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় হামের উপসর্গ নিয়ে যে পাঁচ শিশুর মৃত্যু হয়েছে, তার মধ্যে দুটি শিশু মারা গে
Five more children have died from measles symptoms in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths nationwide to 666. During the same period, 1,148 individuals contracted measles or its symptoms. Of the total deaths, 573 are attributed to measles symptoms and 93 to confirmed measles cases. The health directorate reported that two of the latest child deaths occurred in the Sylhet division, with one each in Dhaka, Chittagong, and Khulna divisions. A total of 907 suspected measles patients were hospitalized in the last 24 hours, with 331 in the Dhaka division. Since the first case was identified on March 15, 89,904 individuals have shown symptoms, with 74,184 hospitalized.
