Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has questioned the Samajwadi Party (SP) regarding funds collected for the Babri Masjid, amidst controversy surrounding donations for the Ram Temple. Pathak accused the SP chief, Akhilesh Yadav, of focusing solely on questioning Sanatan culture and engaging in appeasement politics for vote bank purposes. He asserted that the SP would never question the destination of funds collected for the Babri Masjid. Pathak stated that the people of Uttar Pradesh are aware of the SP's alleged role in inciting riots and opposing devotees of Ram. He assured that action would be taken based on the findings of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing allegations of embezzlement of Ram Temple donations. The SIT was formed to investigate the disappearance of funds donated for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
