Andhra Pradesh has secured the top position nationwide in the utilization of funds allocated under the Prime Minister’s Schools for Rising India (PM SHRI) scheme, announced Minister for Human Resource Development Nara Lokesh. The scheme focuses on modernizing government schools. Minister Lokesh congratulated education officials for this achievement and directed them to proceed with constructing 844 smart kitchens across the state, modeled after the Kadapa project. Distribution of educational kits has commenced and will be completed before the upcoming Parent-Teacher Meeting. The Minister also emphasized the need for providing bunk beds in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas and residential schools, and streamlining permissions for private schools. The initiative aims to enhance educational infrastructure and accessibility.
