Maiden Flight Preparations for UTS-800 Prototype Aircraft Nearing Completion

Preparations for the maiden flight of the UTS-800 training aircraft prototype are nearing completion at the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA). Specialists from UZGA, in collaboration with the S. A. Chaplygin Siberian Aviation Research Institute, have successfully completed ground vibration tests. These tests are crucial for assessing airframe resonance and control system dynamics to ensure flight safety. The ground test program also included verifying the operation of key onboard systems, such as power supply, hydraulics, and avionics. The UTS-800 is equipped with the Russian VK-800SP turboprop engine. The successful completion of these tests paves the way for the aircraft's first flight, marking a significant milestone in its development.

This update signifies a critical step forward in the development of the UTS-800 training aircraft, bringing it closer to its maiden flight after rigorous ground testing.
