Poll: Romanians Believe Country is on Wrong Path, Favor Early Elections
Velika većina Rumuna veruje da je njihova zemlja na pogrešnom putu i da treba što pre izabrati novu vladu kako bi se rešila politička kriza, ali istov
A recent poll indicates that a large majority of Romanians believe their country is heading in the wrong direction and desire a new government to resolve the ongoing political crisis. The Avangard agency's survey found that 81% of respondents feel the country is on the wrong path, and 88% believe a government must be formed quickly. While favoring early elections, most Romanians (53%) do not want a government led by a non-partisan prime minister composed of parties from the previous coalition. The political instability intensified in May when the parliament ousted Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan's government, which had been in power for less than a year. The country faces a deep political crisis, high inflation, and a significant budget deficit.
The poll revealing Romanian public sentiment for early elections and dissatisfaction with the country's direction underscores the depth of the political crisis and desire for change.
