UN Spokesperson: India and Bangladesh Must Resolve Border Push-Ins Through Dialogue

Responding to a journalist's question about the precarious situation of children and women at the India-Bangladesh border, Dujarric emphasized that solutions must be found while fully respecting human rights and dignity. When asked about the potential for Rohingya repatriation, given the incoming UN General Assembly President's past role as a Rohingya High Representative, Dujarric clarified that the President's focus would be on General Assembly proceedings, while the Rohingya crisis issue would continue to be addressed separately.
