State to Credit Kharif Installment of Rythu Bharosa Scheme from June 30

The State government has announced that the Kharif (Vaanakalam) installment of the Rythu Bharosa scheme will commence crediting to farmer accounts starting June 30. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will officially launch the disbursement process at a public meeting in Madhira, Khammam district. Farmers are set to receive ₹6,000 per acre, with the funds distributed over the following days. The State Cabinet finalized this date during a recent informal meeting. Additionally, the government announced a ₹500 per quintal bonus for seven specific fine rice varieties, encouraging farmers to cultivate them due to strong market demand. Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao advised farmers to consider rainfall patterns, potentially influenced by El Nino, when selecting crop varieties and advised sowing only after adequate rainfall. Civil Supplies Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy noted the record paddy procurement during Rabi and urged the central government to purchase the entire produce from Telangana.
