The National Social Security Fund (CNSS) organized information sessions in Ouagadougou on Thursday, June 18, 2026, targeting human resources managers and employees nearing retirement. The objective is to enhance understanding of social security rights and obligations, and to prepare future retirees for administrative procedures. As Burkina Faso's social security provider, the CNSS aims to ensure optimal contribution collection for benefit payments. However, the fund notes a lack of comprehensive knowledge among HR professionals and workers regarding these regulations. To address this, the CNSS is strengthening its communication strategy through these exchange forums. Approximately 200 participants attended the sessions, which focused on contribution declarations, payment procedures, and access to social security benefits. The initiative seeks to improve support for workers and facilitate access to retirement pensions.
