Witness Testifies to Seeing SP and Two ASIs at Scene of 'Crossfire' Killings

A witness, Police Inspector Md. Nazrul Islam Majumder, testified before the International Crimes Tribunal-2, stating he saw the bodies of two leaders from the Bangladesh Nationalist Party's (BNP) student wing and cultural front lying on the road. He also stated that the then-Superintendent of Police (SP) of Barisal, A K M Ehsanullah, and two Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) from Wazirpur Police Station were present at the scene. The witness provided this testimony as the second witness in a case concerning alleged 'crossfire' killings of these leaders. He recounted events from his time as an SI in Agailjhara Police Station, detailing the circumstances leading to the arrests and subsequent deaths of the two leaders in 2015.
