INEP Celebrates 10 Years, Reinforces Focus on Youth Employability

The National Institute for Employment (INEP) marked its tenth anniversary, reaffirming its commitment to promoting employment, self-employment, and entrepreneurship. The occasion coincided with the opening of its VIII Consultative Council meeting in Nampula, gathering government officials, cooperation partners, and industry representatives. Minister of Youth and Sports Caifadine Manasse highlighted INEP's impactful role over the past decade in creating opportunities for Mozambican youth through labor insertion programs and entrepreneurship support. Initiatives such as labor intermediation, pre-professional internships, and career guidance have been instrumental in enhancing youth access to the job market and economic inclusion. The consultative council aims to evaluate progress, identify challenges, and discuss innovative solutions for youth employment.
