Epilogue has released a new mobile app, Flashback, allowing users to connect their Game Boy Camera to iOS and Android smartphones. This functionality is enabled through Epilogue's GB Operator accessory, which bridges Game Boy cartridges to modern devices. Previously, the Game Boy Camera was repurposed as a webcam for PCs. The app enables users to capture photos directly on their phones using the retro accessory. The Game Boy Camera, released in 1998, was known for its extremely low-resolution, four-shade grayscale images. This new app offers a novel way to engage with the vintage gadget.
