The Caracas Metro system is set to commence rehabilitation work on Line 2 starting Monday, June 22. The seven-week project will involve infrastructure upgrades along a seven-kilometer stretch between the Mamera, Zoológico, and Caricuao stations. Consequently, train service will be temporarily suspended between Zoológico and Caricuao. Approximately 30,000 daily passengers rely on Line 2. To mitigate disruption, the Metro will provide 10 free Metrobús units operating between Zoológico and Caricuao, connecting to Antímano station. This initiative aims to ensure continued mobility for commuters during the essential maintenance period.
