The Council of Ministers in Burkina Faso convened on June 18, 2026, under the leadership of President Ibrahim Traoré. The meeting resulted in the approval of significant projects focused on the health sector and civil aviation. Key decisions included the adoption of a report detailing specific projects for the National Bureau of Major Projects of Burkina (BN-GPB). These projects encompass the construction, expansion, and rehabilitation of six health centers, along with the acquisition of IT equipment for the Faso Technological Academy, totaling over 10.9 billion CFA francs. Additionally, the council approved decrees appointing an administrator and the president of the orientation and control council for the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC). The Ministry of Economy and Finance also saw the adoption of two decrees related to the institutional framework for managing growth poles and the national strategy for their promotion.
