The Hellenic Tax and Customs Authority (AADE) is transforming taxpayer services with the launch of its first myPoint center in Holargos, aiming to streamline interactions for citizens and businesses. This initiative is part of a broader plan to establish 15 such centers by year-end, promoting a more modern and digital tax administration. myPoint centers will consolidate services, offering information, guidance, and support through simplified procedures, complementing the existing multichannel service center (my1521) and digital AADE services. The digital transformation includes a new information portal for tax and customs legislation expected in 2026, an AI-powered digital assistant for real-time guidance, and enhanced request management systems to reduce waiting times. Interconnected IT systems will enable automatic updates to the tax registry, minimizing the need for physical visits.
The myPoint initiative represents a significant step towards modernizing Greece's tax administration, improving efficiency and accessibility for taxpayers through digitalization and automation.
