Man Fatally Stabbed in Jurain; Police Suspect Dispute Among Friends

Abdul Quddus, a 50-year-old man, was fatally stabbed in Jurain on Thursday night. His mother and police suggest the motive may stem from a dispute among his friends. A local source indicated that the killing could be related to drug dealing. The incident occurred around 10:30 PM in Nabrun Goli, Jurain. Quddus was critically injured and taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His mother stated that Quddus was socializing with a group of young men when he was attacked. She mentioned a recent argument between Quddus and some individuals he used to associate with. The building owner corroborated that Quddus had a dispute with local residents Monir and Firoz, reportedly involved in drug sales, after Quddus objected to their activities.
