Light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunderstorms, is forecast for various regions of Bangladesh today. The Bangladesh Meteorological Department predicts temporary gusty winds in many areas of Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong, and Sylhet divisions, along with some parts of the Rajshahi division. Day and night temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged across the country. The weather system is influenced by a trough of low pressure extending from Gangetic West Bengal to the Northwest Bay of Bengal, with monsoon winds being moderately active. Maximum temperatures recorded yesterday were in Satkhira (36.2°C), while the lowest was in Gopalganj (22.2°C) this morning.
