The accused had previously indicated they would not appeal their sentences. The OM had initially sought sentences of 44 months for two defendants who had made plea bargains, agreeing to return part of the stolen goods in exchange for a reduced sentence. The third defendant faced a demand of 5.5 years, having not made a deal. The court imposed the same sentence on all three, as the exact contribution of each to returning the loot could not be determined. A gold bracelet, valued at an estimated €500,000, remains missing. The OM stated that "sufficient justice has been done."
